One of our customers, a midwestern women’s clothing retail chain, had identified intimates as its white space in their product offerings. Understanding that intimates is a special category that requires specific skill sets in fabrics, design and fit, they reached out to MGF Sourcing to help.
In May 2021, the two excited teams had their first meeting. We introduced our “Light Touch” approach and brought along our proposal to the customer, complete with brand messages, assortment, product sketches, fabric options, suggested prices, package design, and even store visuals.
The first order was delivered by ocean to the customer’s distribution center in November 2021, only six months after the first meeting. Empowered by the customer, MGF's technician team owned all the fit approvals and so all sample making and approvals, including wear testing were completed in one month.
